Mrs. Bragdon, who was in her 75th year, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Sloan, Monday afternoon about 1 o'clock. She was the widow of the late J. J. Bragdon and had for some time been making her home with her daughter. She was known to be a woman of devoted Christian character and had long been a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church.
Mrs. Bragdon is survived by four daughters, Miss Ethlyn Bragdon and Mrs. G. W. Sloan of Columbia, Mrs. Daisey King of Sumter, Mrs. C. T. Strickland of Greensboro, N. C., and two sons, S. J. Bragdon of Orangeburg, one brothers B. F. Jones of Georgetown, also survive.
