Mildred Marie Powell
The graveside service for Mildred Marie Powell will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Medford. Pastor Bill Larson of Lozier Lane Baptist Church will officiate.
Mrs. Powell, 91, of Medford, died Wednesday (June 25, 2003) in Medford.
She was born Jan. 31, 1912, in Leland, Idaho, to Henry and Sirilda (Blankenship) Richardson. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1927. On May 7, 1927, in Grants Pass, she married James E. Powell, who died in 1983.
Mrs. Powell was a homemaker.
She enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, reading and cooking.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Kyniston, Central Point, and Doris Rice, Gresham; two brothers, Lloyd Richardson, Sequim, Wash., and Alfred Richardson, Reedsport; and a sister, Evelyn Bales, Medford. She was preceded in death by a son, James; and two sisters.
