OBITUARY: Bordentown Register, Appeared-September 23, 1938, Page-26, Column-1, Adam Spundarelli, well known Italian barber and resident of Bordentown for 35 years, died after an 18 month illness. He resided at 148 Farnsworth Ave. and was buried in St. Mary's Cemetery. He is survived by his widow, Mary; 3 sons, John, Augustus, and George; 2 daughters, Mary and Elizabeth; a sister in Italy, Mrs. Catherine Marrinelli. He fought with the Italian Army in the first Ethiopian War of 1895. He came to America and lived in Trenton a few years, then Bordentown. He was first employed as a gardener by Thomas Adams, and later on the John V. Rice estate. His shop was in the Register building for many years. In 1928 he purchased the building.
