Agnes Marie Garrett was born September 27, 1921 in Boswell, Oklahoma (Choctaw County), daughter of Clifton Pardue Garrett (1888-1956) and Sarah Frances 'Sallie' Taylor (1885-1953).

The 1930 Federal Census for Caddo, Oklahoma (Bryan County) shows Agnes Garrett, age 8, born in Oklahoma; living with her father, Clifton P. Garrett, a farmer, age 41, born in Texas; and her mother, Sallie, age 43, born in Texas. Also living in the household were some of Agnes' siblings: Inez Garrett, age 18, born in Texas; Swafford Garrett, age 13, born in Texas; and Willie May Garrett, age 10, born in Oklahoma.

In 1939, Agnes married Raymond Lee Mayhall, who was born February 25, 1918 in Hunt County, Texas, son of Fred Lee Mayhall (1889-1930) and Clora Bessie Slemmons (1899-1987).

The 1920 Federal Census for Lone Oak, Texas (Hunt County) shows Raymond L. Mayhall, age 20, born in Texas; living with his father, Fred Mayhall, a farmer, age 30, born in Texas; and his mother, Clara B. Mayhall, age 20, born in Texas. Also living in the household was Doris B. Mayhall, age 11, born in Texas. Fred and Clara had been married for four years.

Raymond died June 29, 1989 in Dallas County, Texas and was buried in the Brad Cemetery in Brad, Texas (Palo Pinto County).

Agnes died December 6, 1946 in Blue, Oklahoma (Bryan County) and was buried in Durant, Oklahoma (Bryan County) in the Highland Cemetery. Burial information was derived from Durant city records.
