Funeral services will be held at the Church of Christ in Blue, Oklahoma Wednesday afternoon, November 29, 1953 at 2 o'clock for Mrs. Salley Frances Garrett, aged 68, who died at her home in Blue on Monday, November 27, 1953, after an extended illness. Services will be conducted by Brother R. C. Ledbetter, and burial, under directions of Murray Funeral Services, will be in Highland Cemetery, Durant, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be H. B. Brown, Will Ellis, Lloyd Hieman, Henry Cornelison, D. L. Jestis and Clyde Eades. Mrs. Garrett was born at Sherman, Texas, August 26, 1885, and was married to C. P. Garrett at Sherman, August 8, 1908. She had been a resident of Bryan County since 1929 and was a member of the Church of Christ.
