Mr. Ralph Joseph Drew, age 70 of Waldo, died Monday October 1, 2012 at North Florida Regional Hospital in Gainesville.
Born on November 17, 1941 in Shamrock, FL he was the son of the late Omar Dale Drew and Delisa Mae (Raulerson) Drew Hall. Mr. Drew earned a Bachelor's Degree from Oklahoma State University.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the Dept. of Corrections at U.C.I. as a Correctional Probation Officer. Prior to which he retired from the U.S. Air Force serving during the Vietnam Era.
Mr. Drew was a Mason.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Pittman) Drew. Four Children: Dale Drew of Castle Pines, CO, Sherri Bean of Dell City, OK, Bonnie Ferguson of West Melbourne and Bobbie Dudley of Waldo. He is also survived by his brother and sisters: Dorothy Foster, Robert "Butch" Smith both of Waldo, Patti Markham of Lake City and Pam Atwood-Eddy of Cumberland Gap, TN. Twelve Grandchildren and One Great Grandchild.
He was pre-deceased by his bothers: Don Drew and Billy Joe Drew.
