Mrs. Parks was born in Kershaw, SC April 24, 1928, a daughter of the late John David Evans and Susie Mae Coker Evans. She retired from United Merchants-Union Plant after forty-three years of service. She was a member of Philippi Baptist Church.
Mrs. Parks was predeceased by two brothers: Clarence and Charles Evans and two sisters: Agnes Griffith and Margaret Alman.
