Carr, who died April 19th, at a half past 4 p.m. at the age of 43yrs, 9mos, and 3days, after several months confinement to his bed. He died without a struggle. His last request was to be "straighten out." Mr. Carr was born in Fayette County, Ohio on the 16th day of July, 1844. He was the eldest son of Reuben and Amy(nee:Morris) Carr. In 1848 his parents moved to Fulton County, Indiana, where he continued to live until the spring of 1884 when he moved to Barron county, where he continued to live until he was called away by death. He joined the Christian Church in 1868 and has been an active and faithful member ever since. He married in the fall of the same year to Miss Sarah McCarter who still lives to mourn the loss of her warm loving husband.
