Dexter has no stone in the United States. He enlisted in WWII 10-26-1942 and was sent to Camp Shelby Mississippi where he entered the Army Air Corps. He had three years of high school and his civil occupation was considered a Geographer. He was 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighed 133 lbs.
Dexter was a tail bomber. He earned the rank of Sergeant with the 350th Bomber Squardron 100th Bomber on 10-8-1943 Dexter's plane was shot down over the Netherlands. His body was recovered and buried in the Netherlands. He was awarded the Purple Heart Medal.
