Mrs. Auguste Augustine

Mrs. Augusta Augustine, 85, life-long resident of the town of Mosel, passed away at 3 p.m., Saturday, at her farm home. She had been ill for some time.

She was born in the town of Mosel on May 26, 1865, a daughter of the late Henry and Christina Hopf. She was married to Charles Augustine in 1888, and the couple lived all their married lives on the same farm. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Reformed church, town of Mosel.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Esther) Thiel, of Waldo; five sons, Edwin of Stratford, Fred of Sheboygan, Richard, Robert and Albert, at home; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Her husband passed away on March 21, 1940. two sons, Frank and Carl, three sisters, and one brother, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at the St. Paul's church. The Rev. William Beckman will officiate and burial will be made in the church cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the Walter H. Ahrens Funeral home, Howards Grove, from Tuesday noon until 11 a.m., Wednesday, and at the church from noon, Wednesday, until the hour of services.
