Rose Cinko Hammond/Shelby, IN Rose Cinko, age 90, formerly of Hammond and Shelby, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2004. at St. Anthonys Home, Crown Point, IN. She is survived by her very special caregivers: niece Yvonne, Jerry Skorupa and Godchild Johnny (Dolores) Angus; many other nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; brother-in-law Louis Cinko, and sister-in-law Victoria Csecviar. Preceded in death by husband Michael, sister, Emily Kasper and brothers George, John and Victor Seckwar. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, June 15, 2004 from 5 to 9 p.m., with a prayer service at 8:30 p.m at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave. Schererville, IN. Private burial will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. Rose was a devoted wife of 67 years to husband Michael until his passing in 1999. She was a member of the 4-H Club and the Altar and Rosary Society in Shelby; and owner/operator of the Cinko Grocery Stores in Hammond.
