He was born Nov. 27, 1888 and married the former, Miss Alice Grayum in 1909.
He was retired in 1956 from Marquette Cement Co. He was a member of the International Order of Odd Fellows.
Surviving are his wife; son James G. Day; daughter Mrs. G. A. Womack; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Wednesday at Lorberg Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
