Audrey R. Nelson, 80, of Clothier passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Boone Memorial Hospital. She was born March 19, 1932 and was a daughter of the late Denny and Chatty Chambers.

She was also preceded in death by
her husband, Bobby Edward Nelson;
one son, Rodney Edward Nelson.

She was a homemaker and was a member of Spencer United Methodist Church, Hewett.

Survivors include daughters, Sandy (Hobert) Conley of Ripley, Kaye (Jerry) Cook of Blair, Lou (Freddy) Terral of Bob White, Dee (Rodney) Thurmond of Wharton and Ashley McGuire of Wharton;
14 grandchildren;
two step-grandsons;
38 great-grandchildren;
one great-great-grandchild;
three brothers, Edgar Chambers of Greenview, Arvin Chambers and Jimmy Chambers both of Hewett;
one sister, Dora Brancato of Michigan;
a host of friends.

Service at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with the Rev. Roger McCauley and Earl Akers officiating. Burial in Elkins Cemetery, Hewett.
