Miss Ruth Ellen Kolz, 34, of rural Montrose, died at her home Tuesday morning following a brief illness.
Born on May 2, 1939, at Durango, she attended schools there until the family moved to Montrose in 1952. She was a member of the Nazarene Church.
Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kolz of Montrose; four brothers, Merle and Harvey of Montrose, Harold of Olathe and Joe of Bayfield, Colo; and a sister, Miss Berneeda Kolz of Montrose.
