Mrs. Sally Schenck, widow of the late Norman Schenck died at her home on the Reservation Friday after a long illness aged 75 years. Mrs. Schenck was born in Cayuga County and most of her married life was spent on the farm where she died, and where her husband preceeded her twenty years ago. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Austin who tenderly cared for her during her illness, one son Seward Schenck died about two years ago. The funeral was held Saturday from the family home Rev. Clara Morgan officiating. The interment was in Hope Cemetery. (Wyoming County Times, Wednesday, November 20, 1907)
