Mr. Emory Thomas Brown, Sr., age 89, of Griffin, GA, died Thursday, September 20, 2012. Interment will be in Cheatham Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Brown was born October 3, 1922 in Fulton County, GA to Lawrence Herman Brown and Harriet Isabel Mann Brown. Mr. Brown served in the U. S. Navy during WWII. He was an inspector at Lockheed before retiring and was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife of 69 years, Lillian Warner Brown of Griffin, GA; five children, Dianne Brown Faulkner & husband, Dan Faulkner of Griffin, GA, Lawrence Edward Brown & wife Teresa Aiola Brown of Marietta, GA, Emory Thomas Brown, Jr. & wife Genie Mitchell Brown of Smyrna, GA, Teresa Brown Dean of Mt. Juliet, TN & Warner Marcus Brown of Acworth, GA; ten grandchildren & sixteen great grandchildren.
