Lillian Warner Brown, formerly of Marietta, passed away June 4, 2018 in Griffin where she had made her home for the past 7 years. Funeral service was held at Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta with Pastor Todd Rainwater officiating. Interment was in Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents John Edward Warner and Lillian Gillette Warner; her husband of 69 years Emory T. Brown, Sr.; and son Lawrence E. Brown. She is survived by a son and his wife Emory T. Jr. and Genie Brown of Smyrna; son Warner M. Brown of Acworth; daughter Teresa B. Dean of Mt. Juliet, TN; daughter and husband Dianne B. and Don Faulkner of Griffin; daughter-in-law Teresa A. Brown of Marietta; ten grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; special nephews Doug Warner and Michael Warner; niece Helen Phillips; and other nieces and nephews.

Lillian enjoyed a rewarding career as a classroom and gifted teacher in Cobb County.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 3455 Canton Rd. Marietta, GA 30066.
