Mrs. Lillian Bossow of 314 North Avenue, Mount Clemens, passed away at Clinton Valley Hospital on Saturday at the age of 81 years. She had been ill for the past four months.
Born in New Haven, Michigan, on April 4, 1886, to Louis and Sophia Papist Erdman, she was united in marriage with Herman C. Bossow in 1907. The couple moved to a farm home in Lenox Township and in October of 1926 moved to Mount Clemens. Mr. Bossow passed away on April 26, 1945.
A member of Zion United Church of Christ, she also belonged to the Dorcas Society.
Surviving are four children: Harry of Warren, Mrs. Hilbert (Jennie) Mallast, Mrs. Amanda Schlaff and Leonard, all of Mount Clemens. Also surviving are six grandchildren, two great-grandsons and three brothers, John of Warren, Walter of Mount Clemens and Louis of Algonac. Three sons Elmer, Norman and Arnold and two brothers, Edward and Burt predeceased.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 o'clock/clock from the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 North Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens, with the Reverend H.F.J. Rest officiating. Burial will be in the Centennial Cemetery, New Haven.
