Mount Clemens - Jennie E. Mallast, 76, a Mount Clemens resident 35 years, died Tuesday at St. Joseph Hospital, Clinton Township.
A member of Zion United Church of Christ, she was a former employee of the Mount Clemens Pottery Company.
She is survived by her husband, Hilbert; son, Duane of Mount Clemens; a grandson; sister, Mrs. Richard (Amanda) Schlaff-Kage of Romeo; brothers, Harry Bossow of Sterling Heights and Leonard Bossow of Mount Clemens.
A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Will & Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens, with the Rev. Raymond Lord of Zion United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Township. Visitation is after 7 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
