Mrs. Charlene Roberts, 69, died at 10 a.m. April 7 at St. Joseph Hospital in Ottumwa.
She was born May 4, 1911 in Sylvia, Kansas to John and Louise Geig Naffziger. She lived most of her life in Wapello County. She married Thomas A. Roberts on June 9, 1928. Survivors her husband, her daughters Rose Lindholm and Delores Hite of Ottumwa and Karen Campbell and Ellen Sue Bartlett of Eldon, sons Keith of Ottumwa and Jack of Drakesville. 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and a sister Elsie Phillips of Oroville, California. Services 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Campbell Home in Eldon the Rev. Harold Baker officiating. Burial: Shaul Cemetery, Ottumwa. Visitation 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
