Dorothy Beckman Buehler, 87, of Fremont, OH, passed away on December 23, 2011 at Countryside Care Center in Fremont, OH. She was born on September 30, 1924 in Fremont, OH to Frank and Maude (Neff) Prior. She married Harold Beckman on January 27, 1944 at Grace Lutheran and he preceded her in death on September 1, 1986. She then married Wayne Buehler at Grace Lutheran Church in 1990 and he preceded her in death on June 20, 2004.

Dorothy was a Homemaker and had worked at Joseph's Department Store. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where she was involved in Grace Fellowship and the Charity Circle. She also taught Sunday School for many years at the church. She enjoyed reading, sewing and crocheting. She also loved to travel and cook.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Carol (Ray) Hutchison of Saint Clair Shores, MI, Janice (David) Longanbach and Steven L. (Mary) Beckman all of Fremont, OH; step children, Sandy (Joe) Cecil, Fremont, OH and Carol Buehler of Mississippi; grandchildren, Heather (Mike) Fischer and Scot Hutchison, both of St. Clair Shores, MI, Nicole (Sean) Sprouse and Jason Longanbach, both of Columbus, OH, Jeremy, Matt and Zach Beckman, all of Fremont, OH; three step grandchildren; great grandchildren, Oscar and Marshall Sprouse, Lilly and Isabella Beckman; six step-great grandchildren and sister-in-law, Faye (Don) Mitchell of Fremont.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Harold Beckman; second husband, Wayne Buehler and infant twin sons.

Visitation: Wednesday, December 28th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 705 West State St, Fremont, OH.

Service: Wednesday December 28th at 11 a.m. at the church following the visitation with Pastor James Avers officiating.

Burial: Oakwood Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Grace Lutheran Church or Countryside Continuing Care Center.
