Mary Pauline Grubaugh was born in 1906 to Thomas A. Grubaugh and Martha Ann Clark. She was the only child born to this couple. Her father, Thomas, was married earlier to Anna Belle Haskin and they had two daughters, both of whom have become half-sisters of Mary Pauline. Mary Pauline married William Henry Haynes on 11 Mar 1928 in Crawford County, IL. They had one daughter, Mary Ann. Mary Pauline died in 1936 in Robinson, IL.

Mrs. William Haynes Dies Early Today
Mrs. William Haynes, 30, died at the Allen Sanitarium shortly after 2 o'clock this morning as a result of complications following a major operation on December 30.
She is survived by her husband and small daughter, Mary Ann, four year old. Her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Grubaugh, and two sisters, Mrs. Donald Holt of Chicago and Bonnie of this city also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Friday. Complete arrangements have not been made and will be announced tomorrow.
