VANCOUVER, WASHINGTON (Special) Funeral service for Claude C. Calavan, who died Monday, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m., at the First Presbyterian Church, under the direction of the Evergreen Funeral Home.
Mr. Calavan was born March 29 , 1886 in Scio, Oregon. He had been a Vancouver resident 21 years, where he had been secretary-treasurer of the National Farm Loan Association. Mr. Calavan had been a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Kiwanis Club, Washington Lodge No. 4, F&AM.
Surviving Mr. Calavan are his widow, Sarah; his son, Claude, Jr., Vancouver; a sister, Mrs. Ferris Kirkpatrick, Lebanon, Oregon, and three grandchildren.
