Lawrence Randall "Bud" Moore died on Monday, September 24, 2012 at 85 years of age. Bud was born on July 23, 1927 in Morris, Oklahoma to William Napoleon and Leona (Matlock) Moore. He was a proud member of the Muskogee Creek Nation. The Half Moon Ranch, South of Morris, was Bud's home place where he passionate about ranching. The annual family reunions were such an event that in Bud's 85 years, he never missed one. He was preceded in death by his parents and nine brothers: William Moore, Napoleon Moore, John R. Moore, III, Thomas Ephraim Moore, Kelly Robert Moore, Kenneth C. Moore, Marcy McKinley Moore, Maurice Moore, and Glenn March Moore, Sr. Bud is survived by one brother Edwin Stanton "Ed" Moore of Tulsa, two cousins: Jack L. Alford of San Francisco, California and Bonnie Grace Campbell of Dallas, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the Concharty Indian Methodist Church with Reverend Newman Frank officiating. Interment will follow at the Morris Cemetery. Viewing will be at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee on Wednesday from 1:00 – 8:00 P.M. Casket bearers are Glenn M. Moore, Jr., Dave Miller, Sr., Dave Miller, Jr., John R. Moore, Michael Flud and John Miller. Honorary casket bearers are Bob Miller, Billy Bruner, Jerry Wilson, Lawrence Middleton, C.D. Miller, Bill Nelson and Pete Belisle. The family request memorial contributions be made to a church or charity of your choice.
