May 5, 1999 - Cumberland Times-News - FROSTBURG - Donna V. Folk, 68, of 13 Bealls Lane, Frostburg, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 4, 1999, at her residence. Born March 13, 1931, in Everett, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Helen (Donius) Grimes. She also was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty L. Hunt and Jenny Witt; and a brother, Robert L. Grimes. Ms. Folk was a member of the Welsh Baptist Church, Frostburg. She was a homemaker, a volunteer/employee at the Frostburg Village Nursing Care Center, and a home health care provider. Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn M. Wolfe, Frostburg, and Bonnie J. Shea, Zihlman; a son, Blaine Folk and his wife, Sandy (McKenzie), Zihlman; four grandsons, Jeffrey W. Wolfe and his wife, Janet (Zlomek), Gaithersburg, Joshua A. Shaw, Zihlman, and Tyler Folk and Wayne Folk, both of Zihlman; a granddaughter, Kimberly Shea Wolfe, Frostburg; a sister, Marlene Bittner and husband, Nevin, Zihlman; a brother-in-law, Tom Hunt, Frostburg; an uncle, George Donius; and aunt LaVada Martin; special people include Donald J. Folk; several nieces and nephews; and many wonderful individuals and doctors from the cancer clinic. At Donna's request, the body will be cremated and no funeral or memorial services will be held. She will be put to rest in the Frostburg Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Durst Funeral Home, P.A.
