Ruth E. Harmon, 72, of 9019 Jackson St., Weedsport, died Monday at Auburn Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Ledyard, Mrs. Harmon was a life resident of the Auburn-Weedsport area. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, Weedsport.
She was the widow R. Michael Harmon, who died in 1977.
Surviving are three sons, R. Michael III of Auburn, John M. of Weedsport and Thomas E. Harmon of Gainesville, Ga.; a daughter, Agnes Charlton of Weedsport; 10 grandchildren, one great-grandson, and nieces and nephews.
Services were to be today at the Jewell Funeral Home, 8886 S. Seneca St., Weedsport, and at St. Joseph's Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial was to be celebrated.
Burial was to be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Weedsport.
