W. Glenn Horst, 67, of 810 Highland Drive, Chambersburg, died Wednesday, Nov 1, in the Chambersburg Hospital emergency room.

Born Aug 4, 1922, in Letterkenny Township, he was the son of the late William and Katie (Cockley) Horst.

He was employed by Garman Home Center, Chambersburg, for 29 years, and also worked at Addlesberger Building Supply and Park Avenue Pharmacy, both of Chambersburg.

He was a 1940 graduate of Chambersburg High School.

He was a member of the Pleasantview Mennonite Church of Chambersburg.

He also was a member of the Mennonite Historical Society of the Cumberland Valley.

Surviving are his wife of 36 years, C. Anna (Lehman) HOrst; a daughter, Barbara A. Payne of Chambersburg; four sons, Jay L. Horst of Chambersburg, Dale L. Horst of Greencastle, and Galen R. Horst and Daryl E. Horst, both at home, five grandchildren; and three sisters, Anna Grace Delp of Shippensburg and Leona C. Horst and Edna a. Horst, both of Chambersburg.

The Park-Geisel Funeral Home of Chambersburg, is in charge of arrangements.
