Excerpt from history of Brecksville, Cuyahoga County, Ohio:
Granny Timons came to Brecksville in 1812 with Andrew Dillow. Andrew’s family (parents and 12 brothers and sisters) were killed in an Indian massacre when he was a boy. He hid under a barn and later was taken in by Mary Timons (Timmons).
When Andrew came to town he also brought along his wife and father in law Richard Farrar who was a revolutionary war veteran.
