Brigham City, UT - Wilford Bennion Chase, 84, died Nov. 13, 2000, in Brigham City.

He was born Dec. 25, 1915, in Nephi, Utah, a son of John H. and Ida Bennion Chase.

He married Wilma E. Burtenshaw on June 9, 1938, in the Salt Lake Temple.

He was active in the LDS Church and served as ward clerk, high priest group leader and as mutual president. He was a farmer in Shelton, Idaho, and was a custodian in the Idaho Falls East Stake. He was interested in animals, reading and family. He had lived in Nephi, Utah; Shelton, Idaho; Idaho Falls, Idaho and Brigham City, Utah.

He is survived by his wife [linked below], 2 daughters [names deleted], 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters; a daughter, Sharon Chase, and a grandson, Todd Whittle.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, 2000, at the Honeyville Ward Chapel where friends may call from 9:15 to 9:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery in Idaho directed by Myers Mortuary, Brigham.
