A resident of Slaughter, she died at 6:25 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at The Carpenter House. She was 92 and a native of Kentwood. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Friday, Sept. 21, from 9 a.m. until service in the chapel at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Bob Wojohn and the Rev. Todd Lowery. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her two daughters, Cecelia Kent Duckworth and husband Hunter, of Annapolis, Md., and Gail Kent Browning and husband Criss, of Lebanon, Tenn.; son, Frank Wayne Kent and wife Carol, Clinton; sister, Maunita Yarbrough Wilkinson; six grandchildren, Kevin Duckworth, Karen Duckworth Bryan and husband Shawn, Keith Duckworth and wife Darcie, Chad Browning, Craig Browning, Lauren Kent Jackson and husband Clay; six great-grandchildren, Connor, Kali, Austin, Kipton, Tatum and Holly. Preceded in death by her parents, Lemuel and Mattie Adams Yarbrough; four sisters and four brothers. She was a member of Ingleside Methodist Church. Memorial donations can be made to Benedictine School Foundation, 14299 Benedictine Lane, Ridgely, MD 21660.
