Lois (Merchant), wife to Henry for 58 beautiful years. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Joyce. Lois is survived by her brother, Robert Merchant and his wife, Lee, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Lois was also a substitute teacher and secretary for the Mt. Diablo School District. Lois had many interests - a wonderful wife and mother and grandmother, an avid golfer at Contra Costa Country Club, and a competitive tennis player. Her hand made quilts were legendary and she was an accomplished seamstress. Lois was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church- Concord , a deacon and loving caregiver. Lois was active in PEO - President of her chapter OE 1990-1991 and a delegate of PEO conventions. Her sense of humor and her fun personality was a gift of joy to all.
