FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. MARY SHAW
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Virginia Shaw, 82 years old, who died at 11:15 o'clock last Thursday night at her home in the east part of the city, were conducted at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Sixth Street Baptist Church. The Rev. Lyle Luton and Rev. Dow Booe officiated. Burial was at Hill Crest Cemetery under direction of Derfelt Funeral Home.
Mrs. Shaw had lived in Galena 60 years. She was a member of the Sixth Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son, Dave R. Shaw of Galena; three daughters, Mrs. Lillie Patty and Mrs. Daisy Moore of Galena, and Mrs. May Maxey of Spokane Washington, one brother, Tom Weems of Stella, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Dodge of Tulsa, and Mrs. Beulah Blunk of Picher; 19 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
