According to family records Grandma was born in Colona. However, other family records show that she was born on HorseFly. It is believed that Horsefly was part of Montrose County when she was born. I believe Horsefly is now part of Ouray county.

Laura Irene Trone Osborne Crandell passed away Sunday Sept 16, 2012 in Rangely, Rio Blanco, Colorado. She was born in Colona, Montrose Colorado on Nov 23, 1915.
Survivors Include: 2 Daughters Ruby (Ernie) Martin, Farmington, NM and Edra Lutz, Grand Junction, CO, and 3 sons Floyd Dean (Ty) Osborne, Rangely, CO, Donald Wayne (Oscar) Osborne, Oregon, Johnny Franklin (Jake) Osborne, Rangely, CO
Other surviving members include many grand Children, Great Grand Children, and Great Grand Grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Laura Was Preceded in death by her Parents: George Edgar (Eddie) Trone (1885-1926 and Evey Mae Hull Trone (1887-1933
6 Sisters - Gladys Olive Lynn (1906-1999), Sylvia Mae Dolan-Boyer (1907-1998), Susan Elizabeth Boyer-Ireland (1910-2002), Edna Adaline Lynn (1912-2000) 1 Brother Warren Edgar Trone (1916-2006) and one half brother Byron Dee Batchelder (1930-1993)
Also Preceded her in death Johnnie Franklin Osborne (1913-1973) they were married in 1931 and had eight children.
In 1964 Laura Married Harold S Crandell (1916-1988). Laura and Harold made their home in Rangely, CO. Where they had many wonderful years together.
Laura loved to be outside in the garden and yard with her flowers. She was an amazing strong woman with a smile for everyone. She shall be missed by everyone.
