Family records show she was born in Montrose on the family homestead which was on Horsefly Mesa, which is also in Montrose County. The road that cuts across Horsefly Mesa is called 60X which unites with Davewood Road out of Montrose County. Going over 60X over Davewood Road cuts 10 miles out of the route on their way to Montrose. This was an all day trip to Montrose.
Some insist on adding Parr to her name but at no time did any of these Trone kids have Parr as part of their name. That name goes back 2 or three generations beyond them.
