Lucinda is the daughter of Henderson "Henson" Pendygraft& Hester Ann "Hettie" maiden name unknown. She is listed as Mrs Hettie Searcy suggesting that this is a married surname.

Lucinda was married first to Esom Pendygraft for approximately 30 years. Lucinda & Esom had 8 children together. They lived in Boyle County, Kentucky most of their lives.

Children:
Annie, Moriah, Polly, Katie, Hattie, Sallie, Calap, John

Annie, Sallie, & Calap moved to Missouri from Parksville, Kentucky between 1910 & 1920. Polly died at the age of 27 a few months after giving birth to a daughter, Lottie Pearl. The baby died 1 month after Polly's death. Both are buried in Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Parksville, KY. I have very little information about Katie & Hattie.

Lucinda's 2nd husband was John W. Spires. They married in 1916, making Lucinda 52 years old. John was a Civil War veteran and he died in 1920.

Lucinda then married Thomas L. LaFollett, in 1921. Thomas was also a Civil War veteran. He died 6 years after the marriage. Lucinda is buried next to Thomas LaFollett in the Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Lincoln County, KY. Her last name at the time of her death was LaFollett.
