Funeral services will be held at a 3 p.m. Mass Monday, November 28, 1994 in St. Peters Catholic Church for Isaur Cormier of Lafayette, 93 who died Saturday, November 26, 1994 at Amelia Manor Nursing Home in Lafayette.
Burial will be in the St. Peters Cemetery, The Rev. Gregory Downs, Pastor of St. Peters Church will officiate.
Mrs. Cormier was a native of Carencro and a resident of Lafayette.
Survivors include; four grandsons, Charles Oran, Ronald Dale Cormier, Sr., both of Lafayette; and Darrell W. Cormier and Armand Grossie, both of Scott; six grand-daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Kathy) Broussard of Broussard; Debbie Angelle of Lafayette; Tracy Cormier, Cheri Cormier, and Rene Cormier, all of New Orleans; and Eva Marie Daigle of Scott; one sister, Mrs. John (Isola) Richard of Lafayette; 13 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Honra Cormier and the former Edmonia Leblanc; one son, Mosely Cormier and by one granddaughter, Deanna Foreman.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. today (November 27, 1994) and from 8 a.m. to service time Monday. A rosary will be recited today at 7 p.m.
Melancon Funeral Home, Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel, 4117 St. Joseph Street, Carencro is in charge of arrangements.
