MONTICELLO — Paul E. Hays, 51, 401 Turpie St., died
Tuesday morning in Veterans Hospital, Indianapolis.
He was born in Michigan City Oct. 6, 1928, to Clarence S.
and Anna L. McCloud Hays.
He lived in Monticello the past 11 years, coming from the
Delphi area. An army veteran of the Korean conflict, he was
a member of the Assembly of God Church, Monticello. He
was a member of the VFW, the Disabled American Veterans
and the American Legion.
Surviving is the mother, Anna L. Hays, Monticello.
Two brothers preceded him in death.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Miller-Voorhis
Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Smith officiating.
Burial will be in the Buffalo Cemetery, where full military
rites will be conducted.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4 to 9
p.m.
