Death Claims C. S. Hays
MONTICELLO —Clarence S. Hays, 68, 406 Turpie St. died at
9:30 a.m. Monday in the White County Memorial Hospital. He
had been ill several years.
Born near Fairfield Sept. 14, 1902, he was the son of George W. and Maria Beckman Hays. He was married Dec. 20, 1924 in Idavlle to Anna L. McCloud, who survives.
He was a member of the Assembly of God Church at Monticello.
Survivors are two sons, George W. of Logansport and
Paul E. at home a brother, Paul B. of Richard, Mich.; a sister Mrs. Ethal Holt of Flint, Mich.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Miller Funeral
Home with Rev. David W. Martin officiating. Burial will be in Buffalo Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
