Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Aaroen, 82, a resident of Dunn township for 42 years who died Monday at the home of her son, Theodor, Dunn, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the McFarland Lutheran church, the Rev. M.A. Sorenson, Argyle, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Aaroen was born in Telemarten, Norway, and was married to Herman Aaroen in 1886. Mr. Aaroen died in 1923. She is survived by five sons, Gehard and Martin, Cottage Grove; Andrew, McFarland. and Theodor and Olen, both of Dunn; five daughters, Mrs. Gilbert Finkelson, Blooming Grove; Serena Aaroen, Dunn, and Mrs. Gerald Lea, Mrs. Louis Knickmeyer, and Mrs. Frank Knickmeyer, all of Madison; two sisters, Mrs. Gundhild Davidson, Emmons, Minn. and Mrs. John Holstad, Shevlen, Minn.; 11 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Booth funeral home after 3 p.m. today. The body will be taken to the church at 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
