Hoisington- Mary Elizabeth "Weeks" Figgins, 83, died Nov. 23. 1991, at Fairview Manor, Daytona Beach, Fla. She was born March 9, 1908 in Russell County, the daughter of George H. and Ruth C. Meharg Weeks. A former Bunker Hill resident, living at Daytona Beach, Fla., for the past eight years, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Friends Church. On Jan. 6, 1929 she married Lester W. Figgins in Russell County. He survives.
Other survivors include: three sons, Paul,Dayton, Ohio, Phillip, South Daytona Fla., and David, Kalamazoo, Mich; two brothers Leland Weeks, Marshfield, Mo., and Glenn Weeks, Bunker Hill; two sisters Jennie Harzman, Downs and Iva May Whiteman, Atlanta, Kan.;seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Beaver-Shannon Friends Church, Beaver., with the Rev. Lyle Whiteman presiding. Friends may call from 1 to 7 p.m. Monday at Nicholson-ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington and from 9:30 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in the Cross Plains Cemetery, Russell County.
Memorials may be sent to the Cemetery fund in care of the funeral home.
