Obituary, September 27, 1986 Burlington Free Press. BRISTOL -- Ben E. Booska, 85, died Friday, Sept. 26, 1986 at Porter Medical Center in Middlebury, following a brief illness. He was born June 9, 1901 in Bristol, the son of Peter and Mary (Boardman) Booska and was a member of St. Ambrose Church and was employed at local lumber mills for many years. His wife Viola (Guy) Booska, died July 16, 1981. He is survived by two daughters, Anna Booska and Alice Freegard, both of Bristol; a son Robert Booska of Bristol; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law Vergie Booska of Vergennes. Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the Brown-McClay Funeral Home, Bristol. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Bristol. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. Contributions may be made to the Bristol Rescue Squad, Bristol, Vt. 05443.
