Rites For Others Will Be
Held Today, Tomorrow
At Logan
LOGAN. Sept. 4. From Macbeth
mine, closed and silent after a
day of feverish digging for dead,
a group of saddened villagers came
to Logan today for the first of ten
funerals.
Andy Gazdik, who left his family
in Hungary, to make his way in
the U. S. was buried in Logan
memorial park. The 60 year old
miner was one of the first brought
out after a gas explosion killed
10 In the mine Wednesday.
The rest of the dead will be
buried tomorrow and Sunday.
