Brown, who resided at 1860 Clover St., died at 1 a.m. today at Opelousas General Hospital. He had been ill for 10 years. He was a retired employe of Turner Lumber Co. in LeMoyen.
The rosary will be recited at 8:30 tonight at the funeral home.
Brown is survived by his widow, the former Elizabeth Johnson of Opelousas; one son, J. C. Brown of Opelousas; two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Ardoin and Mrs. Burnley Ardoin, both of Opelousas; a brother, J. D. Brown and one sister, Mrs. Murphy Clark, both of Morrow; and 14 grandchildren.
