All her early days were spent with her parents, but in the year 1881 she was united in marriage to F.F. Oldenburg.
She was a member of the Baptist Denomination, being baptized into their faith at an early age, but for many years she has worshiped at the Methodist Episcopal Church at Linden, this church being most available to her.
Mrs. Oldenburg was an ideal mother and an ideal home maker. She was the mother of nine children all of whom with her husband survive her: The children are as follows: Alfred V. of Chicago, Ill., O.E. of Richland Center, Wis., Ira E. OF Clovis, Calif., Aldro E.,OF BRECKENRIDGE, Minn., Ethel I. OF linden, Wis., Frederick W., of Ft. Wayne, Ind., C. Lester of Kenosha, Wis., Glenn A. of Ft. Atkinson, Wis., Gladys Marie of Linden, Wis. She also leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, F.F. Oldenburg.
Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday afternoon at 12:30. Interment was made in the Dodgeville cemetery, Rev. H. Evans of Linden officiating. The Eastern Star Lodge held their impressive ceremonies at the grave.
