MAHAFFEY — Percy L. Diehl, 65, was found dead at his home at Mahaffey R. D. (Greenwood Township) Friday morning.
He was born at Curry Run Dec. 19, 1903, a son of Frank and Mabel (Johnson) Diehl. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Grampian American Legion Post.
Surviving Mr. Diehl are the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Roy (Josephine) Spencer, Indiana, Pa.; Miss Ethel Diehl, Harrisburg; Thomas Diehl, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Mrs. John (Martha) McKee, Auburn, N.Y.; Fred C. Diehl, Clearfield; Mrs. Mamie Young, Indiana, Pa.; and Mrs. Paul (Jane) Fruit, River Edge, N.J.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be Monday al 11 a.m. from the Russell H. Lininger Funeral Home at Curwensville with Rev. Bruce Dimmick officiating. Burial will he made in Crown Crest Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral until time of services Monday.
