He was born June 27, 1881, in Batavia, son of Milton D. and Nancy Hite Baldridge. He had lived his entire life here.
He formerly worked at Louden Machinery Co. in Fairfield and also worked in a tile factory in Batavia.
He was a member of the Methodist church in Ottumwa when, years ago, there were services for deaf mutes in the church.
He was married to Emma Dorn September 6, 1903. She died in 1944.
Survivng are two sons, Waldo Baldridge of Portland, Ore., and John Baldridge of Batavia; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dr. John Baldridge, in 1959.
The body is at the Campbell funeral chapel in Batavia.
