OBITUARY :
GEORGE ANDREW BINGAMAN, 68, of Rt. 2, died Sunday afternoon at Waynesboro Hospital after an illness of six months.

Born in Manila, Pa., he was the son of Theodore E. and Cora Cosey Bingaman.

He was a member of Pleasant Hill United Bretheran Church in Coseytown.

He was a retired Pennsylvania Department of Transportation employee.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Grace M. Rice Bingaman; eight daughters, Mrs. Clarence Mills of Clear Spring, Md., Mrs. Jessie Starliper of Mercersburg, Mrs. John Sharon of Hagerstown, Mrs. John Helman of Chambersburg and Mrs. William Walker, Mrs. Robert Poole, Mrs. Lauren Myers, Jr. and Mrs. Howard Barnhart, all of Greencastle; four sons, Paul E. Bingaman of State Line, George R. Bingaman of Hagerstown; Raymond E. Bingaman of Greencastle and Leonard E. Bingaman, at home; four brothers, Daniel Bingaman of Waynesboro, Fred Bingaman of Williamsport, Md., and John Bingaman and Wesley Bingaman, both of Greencastle.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Pleasant Hill United Brethren Church in Coseytown with the Rev. Francis Kurtansky and the Rev. Daniel Rosenberger officiating. Burial will be in the cemetery adjoining the church.

Friends may call at the Minnich-Miller Funeral Home in Greencastle from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and at the church one hour prior to services.

The family request that flowers be omitted. Contributions may be made to the Pleasant Hill United Brethren Building Fund.
