Age 63 years, 10 months and 15 days, a resident of East Prairie, passed away Sunday September 9, 2012 at 5:05 a.m. at her residence.
Born October 24, 1948 in Dorena, Missouri to the late William Walter & Hazel Ruth Henderson Adams, Lillie lived in Mississippi County her entire life she was retired from the former Brown Shoe Company in Charleston and was a member of the New Beginnings Church in East Prairie. On November 21, 1964 in the Dogwood Community she married Judson B. Hill Sr. who preceded her in death on November 25, 2007.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Robert Hill and James & Virginia Hill all of East Prairie; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Willie Ruth & Bob Snow of Kevil, Kentucky, Etta Mae Burney and Elton Lee Ramsey both of East Prairie; four grandchildren, Jordan Hill, Hannah Rodriquez, James Clemons and William Clemons, III; by several nieces, nephews; and many friends.
Besides her husband and parents one son Judson B. Hill, Jr.; one brother, Otis Adams; and one infant sister, Mary Elizabeth Adams preceded Lillie in death.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Monday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Shelby Chapel with Sister Helen Kersey and Bro. Randy Eskew officiating. Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery with Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie in charge of arrangements.
