"Mrs. Ada Needler, 83, 551 North Main St., died 01 Jan 1973 at the Randolph Nursing home following a two year illness. A native and lifelong Randolph Co. resident, she was the widow of Vinton Needler, who died in 1965. She was a member of the Congregational Christian Church and Rebekah Lodge. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Allen Hale and Mrs. Elmer Mack, both of Winchester; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Rose Mary Lambert and Mrs. Helen Anderon, both of Gaston; one step-son, John of Morgan Hill, CA; one sister, Mrs. Elsie Kennedy of Farmland, and three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery.
