— Bill Whited, 60, of Dalton and formerly of Jamestown, Tenn., departed this life Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at his home.
Bill was born May 4, 1952, in Fentress County, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Whited and sisters, Janice Franklin and Sarah Smith.
He is survived by his mother; Mary Whited of Jamestown, Tenn.; sister, Lisa and Jerry Beasley; brothers, Matthew "Mack" and Anita Whited, Jackie Whited, all of Dalton; several nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Bill Whited were Saturday at 2 p.m. at Jennings Funeral Home in Jamestown, Tenn., with Brother Chris Corbin officiating. He was laid to rest at the Springs Chapel Cemetery in Fentress County, Tennessee, with Jerry Beasley, Josh Jeffery, Tommy Jeffery, Richie Seeber, Jimmy Smith, Colby Smith and Charlie Watkins serving as pallbearers.
The family receive friends at the Jennings Funeral Home Friday.
